The property is overpriced for what it offers. This is basically a 2 star hotel pretending to be something better. The quality of the sheets and towels are terrible, and the bathrooms were outdated and not well cleaned. I requested a non-smoking room and the room had a terrible smell from years of allowing smokers in it. The property wasn’t able to offer me a different room. In fairness, the staff was helpful but they couldn’t solve the problem. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices, but it wouldn’t be a reason for me to recommend this low quality hotel.

A beautiful old style hotel that has been tastefully restored. Staff very pleasant and helpful. The location is ideal for a short beak. Breakfast was delicious. I will recommend to friends.

Needs some love/renovation - very disappointing
The pictures make the place feel very different. It's much darker, danker and dustier. It's in the old town and has been updated (in places) but it's a bit worn and needs many new updates. Plaster, peeling, a/c barely functional (and was 90 fahrenheit), the room smelled quite moldy and was TINY - terrible foam pillows, scratchy sheets and worn/frayed towels. The service was wonderful (always trying to help in every possible way) and the breakfast was terrific (excpt the sad and stuffy room it was served in) but given it was only $75 or so less than the Luxury/5 star hotel we stayed at just down the road/also in Old Town -- it was very disappointing and we ultimately did not sleep well/would never return.

Fantastic boutique hotel. Amazing location in Old town Palma. Staff were all incredible and went out their way to accommodate. It was very hot when we visited so even with aircon on bedroom was hot, but everywhere was hot. Would absolutely stay again.

My husband booked this hotel as a treat for my sister and me. It looked gorgeous with its outdoor pool, private patio area, etc. We had notified the hotel as soon as the booking was made that we would require two single beds, as I was travelling with my sister. We had not shared a bed in over 50! years. However, the bed was a double and we were told repeat guests had priority for rooms with twin beds. They brought us up a single duvet! I was on the toilet when the lady knocked only to discover we had no toilet paper!!! When I went to wash my hands, I was walking in water all over the floor. Something was leaking, so towels and bath mats all over to soak it up. There were 3 sinks, and we could only use one. There was no creamer for the coffees, no price list for the mini bar, AND the pool was out of use!🙁 In spite of all these hassles, they had the nerve to charge us for the 1 bottle of water we drank. The lady on Reception the night we arrived was most apologetic and prompt in responding to our problems, but it is not what one expects from an hotel of this calibre. We certainly did not receive any Gold Membership benefits.

Little Gem of a place
Little Gem of a place in Palmas Old Town. Hotel has a relaxed charming feel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Rooms are traditional but with such character. Very comfortable. We will be back for sure! Wonderful little place

A two day visit to Palma
We had two days here. We liked the look of the hotel from the pictures on line. What we found was that these images made everything larger than actual size. Our room was the smallest we have ever stayed in with air con that was inefficient and quite noisy. On the plus side the location was fantastic with easy access to all the main Palma attractions. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is situated right in the heart of old Palma in the impossibly narrow streets. Always cool, even in the heat of the mid day sun. It is quintessentially Spanish. There are a lot of steps, stairs but the climb is worth it into a tiny garden with a small plunge pool, palm trees, bougainvillea trees and even its own pair of nesting black birds!

We loved this hotel, the location is great, bed was comfy, the breakfast was lovely and the wifi was great! Only issue was the plug in the bsth tub needs replacing as it leaks.

Best location, fabulous breakfast, spacious room with character, the pool and patio areas are great - to be secluded away from the city. I had an early departure and booked a taxi for 5.30am. At 5.15am one of the staff came to get my bag which was appreciated as there are quite a few stairs and they can lift/lower the bags via a service lift. It wasn't pre-arranged. Very happy and would go again.

This is a fabulous hotel, a little oasis in the middle of Palma. It is a beautiful place and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to book again and recommend to friends.

Beautiful property in the old part of town. Staff was friendly and helpful, and accommodating to my very early morning departure by ensuring I had breakfast and arranging a taxi to the airport. Highly recommend and would return.

The hotel is a lovely traditional stone building and has an arched atrium and stone steps. Our room was one of the higher ones by the pool which would be great in the summer to cool off in. The room was spacious with a king-size bed and very clean with a white linen duvet - and windows that open, which I always like. (Yes there is a safe). The en-suite has a rain shower and two sinks, there’s a mini-bar and kettle etc, and good lighting to read to each side of the bed. There are places to sit directly outside in the morning sun - including comfy loungers. The breakfast was included and we had really nice scrambled eggs and bacon, pastries and juice, as much tea and coffee as we wanted, plus there is cereal, which we always want. There was also a roaring fire in the corner to take the chill off, which was a delight! The hotel is in an excellent location in the centre of the old town, with bars and restaurants really nearby (go to Koa) but is so quiet! We loved it - a perfect winter break.

They muddled our booking & we had to move hotels!
We booked this hotel for 4 nights, but on arrival we were told that our booking had not been transferred to their paper book so therefore we did not have a room, although they could find our booking on the computer! They could give us another room for 1 night, but we then had to move to another hotel (of a decent standard, but not something we would have booked by choice) for the remaining 3 nights. The Hotel San Lorenzo was perfect for us, but we would definitely not recommend them because of this stupid error, we were also told that it had happened to another couple previous to us, so they obviously didn't learn from previous mistakes!
