Surprised that they have a small old-fashioned corner shower cubicle in a luxury hotel. That was the only disappointment.

9.4/10 Exceptional! (848 reviews)
Fantastic location. Absolutely brilliant hotel gym…never seen one anywhere near as good. Lovely public areas. Issue with the aircon in the room which I believe to have been in some sort of eco mode and was not nearly sufficient in hot weather. Spoke to reception who immediately seemed to able to alter it, but this had to be done a few times and was hot in the night. We had a standard size room on a high floor (an upgrade) - the room was tiny but sufficient for our needs.

Visiting Haydock races, excellent location. Pub was great before and after racing. Short walk to and from the track. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed.
