We were attending a convention at the convention centre only a block away, so this was very convenient. The tram is right in front of the hotel and took us directly to and from Piccadilly Station. Not having been to Manchester we were concerned about safety in the city centre, but there were people everywhere all the time and we felt safe at all times. The hotel was beautiful, the room was lovely, though small by Canadian standards, and the shower was heavenly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They let us check in early when we arrived in town on an early train, so very grateful for that. There were voices on the street below through the night (especially the night that England won the Euro semis!), but it didn't disturb our sleep.

Great location just off Peter’s Square with access to lots of restaurants, bars and shops. The room was clean and functional, nothing too fancy but perfect for a good nights sleep after a night out. My room was right in front of the lifts however it was quiet, so don’t let that put you off. I enjoyed my stay here and will book again.

Stayed here twice for work and it’s really nice - very friendly - bar is a bit expensive but that’s standard for hotel bars, very central and convenient. Definitely recommend

A very quiet location despite being right in the middle of Manchester. The room was larger than I expected and very clean. Staff were very friendly and while we had no issues, seemed eager to help.
