The place is steps away from the metro, intercity trains, and an easy walk to really anywhere in Gaia and Porto (via Dom Luis I bridge, upper or lower crossing). Train station has elevators for improved accessibility (although the house itself has stairs to enter from the street to the upper deck). "3 of us stayed (51, 20 and 15yr) Perfect location, welcomed by host and gave us many tips. Bakery end of road for breakfast etc. Perfect for what we required. It would be on the small side for 4 adults. Would book again."

"Overall a nice property, however the outdoor area is very dangerous. The tiles around the pool is very slippery when wet, the edge of the pool very sharp. We had a couple of injuries in the week we spent there. We stopped using the pool and outdoor shower altogether because it is so dangerous. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday then this house is not for you."

"This apartment was beyond our expectations. With its old word (300 yr old) interior walls and floors to its tasteful furnishings yet boasting all modern conveniences. We were very comfortable. It is very quiet and safe area with lots of restaurants within short walking distance. "Clara's stone house is beautifully decorated in her wonderful whimsical style and had everything we needed for a fantastic 3 days. But most important Clara went out of her way to share her knowledge of the area, book a table for us at the Fada restaurant, meet us in person with cake and Port and in a warm and hospitable way make sure our needs were met."

"After driving from the UK Quinta Ribeiro was a perfect haven. A charming house, well-equipped with a great pool and garden. The family-owners were welcoming and responsive. We would have stayed longer but it was already booked- I can understand why!"

"This was a lovely old charming house in a great location—lots of space and a nice garden. One of the bedrooms and bathrooms is located on the basement/garden level and has some sewage-like odor, so sleeping in that space did not work out for us. The house was otherwise very convenient but hot since no AC was available. Unfortunately, construction in the neighborhood was happening from 7 am to 6 pm on both sides of the house, and the noise levels (73bD) were stressful. Communication was ok;...
