Canceled my reservation two days before travel.

This was the worst experience I ever had booking a vacation. I booked the reservation in early August. Constantly tried to communicate with the host for couple of months and didn't get any response. Two days before my travel date the host contacted me and told me they couldn't honor my reservation. They said they had an alternate rental but it didn't accommodate our group. We had to make adjustments on our end to make the trip work. When we arrived to the private hotel there were other guest staying there and on top of that, there were no reservations made for us. Here we were thousands of miles away from home and didn't have a place to stay. Fortunately we were able to find a place that was accommodating for our group. My advice do not book a reservation with this host or this hotel.
