"Our stay at the Residence Hotel was perfect - having a little apartment made us feel like we lived in Reykjavik! The property and room were clean, well maintained, and nicely furnished. It is directly off of the main road so plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We signed up for the daily breakfast, which was amazing. Some of the best bread and cheese we've ever had. "What an amazing hostel. Really liked this place. Felt very safe, spacious, clean, comfy beds. Great storage space in kitchen for food and to cook. Lots of seating on each floor. Fantastic reception and staff. Ideal location, stunning views and seen the northern lights across the road from the hostel. Easy walking distance to main town area. Grocery store round the corner, 3 minute walk and open from 8am until midnight. Lockers in room so bring a padlock. Never queued for showers or toilets. Amazing place and fab price"

"Room was very clean, though small - it was difficult to manage my large suitcase in the small room, as there really wasn't floor space for it and the luggage holder was not big enough for a large suitcase. Otherwise, it was a great experience - perfect location by the harbor, nice breakfast buffet, helpful staff."
