"This hotel is a hub of activity for locals, not just visitors to Iceland. The restaurant and bar are frequented by a mixed crowd. Monday and Friday nights feature live jazz music with no cover charge. The hotel is well situated to the harbour's activities that are a reasonable walk, within a few kilometres, including restaurants, bus stop/transfers, attractions, etc.. WiFi is a reasonable speed for those who need it."

"Hotel lejligheden ligger i et utroligt roligt kvarter samt utroligt central til ALT i Reykjavik. Alt var super tilfredstillende og vil på det varmeste anbefale dette. ps. husk at besøge vinbaren PORT 9 som ligger i samme bygning. "

"Staff are lovely. Nice breakfast selection. Great location for town, harbour and restaurants etc. Parking cost a few pounds a day but very convenient , P3 around the corner."

"The staff was amazing, the lobby beautiful, the room well appointed. The spa hot tub was dangerous: There is a pool ladder that was falling apart (the top step was loose, the rails when I grabbed them came up out of the stone they were mounted in!). The first step of stone was almost knee height above ground, difficult to get on to. It was also polished stone which made getting out with wet feet extremely dangerous. I am clueless as to what architect would have specified such a bad design and shocked that it hadn't been addressed as it is a lawsuit (or worse) waiting to happen. I did report this to the front desk, there should be real matte steps in and out."

"I loved all the front desk people. I loved the breakfasts; comfortable blankets, right sized pillows, small table and round arm chair. The Wifi was very weak; my bathroom had no heater; the door of the shower room could not close tightly."

"I usually don't go for Hostels but this one was exceptionally good! The pods were small but just right for sleeping with good storage for a small space. I liked how the rooms were private and you could control the AC/lighting. The bathrooms were clean and safe (private stalls for both shower and toilet). I like the amenities and it was enough for us to use a fridge, microwave, and tea kettle so we could save some money eating in rather than going out for every meal. It was very secure, you needed to scan your wrist band for every floor and the front door would lock at a certain time so only guest with wristbands could enter late at night which made me feel safe. Someone is also at the front desk 24/7 which was super helpful and awesome for safety! I loved it and would recommend!"
