"This place is excellent! Has everything and anything you wanted. The room is spacious and has your own onsen and steam room! The hotel is new so everything is spotless! The welcoming drinks and snacks are a nice touch! The only down side is the check in process could be easier!"

"What a magical hotel complex! The buildings and grounds are absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained. The hospitality we experienced was like none other. The hotel was easily accessed via the Tozan train. It's a short walk to the hotel from Miyanoshita Station, but there is a hotel shuttle available if preferred. We stayed in the Forest Wing and the rooms were comfortable (firm mattress!) and clean. The breakfast was delicious with amazing presentation on China and silver dishes. So many things to explore - the outdoor gardens, the onsen, the pool, the gym, the museum, and the coffee/beverage room. I would come back to Japan/Hakone just for this stay! Arigato gozaimasu!"

"Love this hotel, very very good view of Mt Fuji (from balcony, as well as common area next to breakfast place)! the breakfast was AWESOME! Overall vibe is very chill kind + it is on hill top! awesome! didnt get to try onsen, did most of my relaxation in hotel bathtub. Heard that the reviews for natural onsen (indoor and outdoor) are superb here!!!! Will try the onsen the next time round. Location wise right next to the lake, did a easy walk around ◡̈ cheers! "

"The room was very nice, has a balcony, television, some smaller closets, tatami matress, a middle size table with floor chairs and futons. The staff was exceptional friendly and helpful. The only thing that bothers us, was our entry room door, it was very loud while opening, we think it needs some oiling, but besides that, everything was very pleasent."

"We had a room with mountain view and a private onsen in the west building. It was amazing The hotel was lovely, the service was impeccable and the meals were outstanding. There is a guest lounge with free drinks and snacks open for most of the day, too. Well worth the extra money."

"The staff are top notch, and the hotel is right near the Hakone Yumoto line with multiple options for travel that use the Hakone Free Pass. There are many restaurants near. Bathroom was a little dated, but everything was immaculate. Would recommend. "
