"Our suite was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Mexico City can be a bit overwhelming but Gran Hotel Ciudad de Mexico was a perfect refuge. The restaurant was terrific, both for food and for the incredible view overlooking the Zocalo. There was also a lovely lounge for residents of the hotel only."

"Our stay at Casa Filomeno was amazing! I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed it. From an effortless check in, which was 1:00 am, to check out, everything was perfect. Fransisco who worked in reception was incredible. He was always there to help with any of our needs. He went out of his way for us many times. The location was in a very safe and vibrant neighbourhood. The beds were so comfortable, and the suite had everything we needed for our 8 day stay. Also wanted to acknowledge Joanne and Esa who cleaned the rooms, they were always around if we needed any extra supplies. We also enjoyed the deck, and would have our happy hour up there watching the activity on the street. A wonderful hotel to have as a home base to enjoy a wonderful city. "

"Very nice 5-star hotel, clean rooms, nice staff, close to attractions. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub on the 9th floor, and also had a very good facial at the spa. The only room for improvement is that the spa receptionist and esthetician don't speak any English. We had to communicate through Google Translate. "

"The hotel is easy to find and is located very centrally. A short walk to the Zocalo and also Allende Metro station. I arrived late due to my flight but had good communication via WhatsApp and was welcomed by the night staff. The room was nice and spacious with plenty of storage. A nice comfortable bed and private bathroom with a hot shower. There was a ceiling fan that kept the room cool. I had 4 peaceful nights sleep. My room didn't have windows and I stayed midweek. The room was kept spotless, cleaned every day and the towels were changed. The manager introduced himself to make sure everything was perfect. I will definitely be returning and would recommend. "
