Our room with our private pool was amazing, spacious and clean. The bed was not as comfortable as I expected and I would have liked the lighting in the bathroom to be brighter. The spa was an amazing space but there were dead bugs everywhere, maybe a little maintenance before aging the amazing rooms might be a good idea. But overall a good vacation.

We spent our honeymoon at Blue Diamond and could not have made a better choice. The food is incredible, the property is beautiful, the wildlife is entertaining, and the staff are absolutely amazing. We felt like royalty, and also like family at this resort. We are not usually all-inclusive vacationers, but this may have converted us. My husband and I take trips to the Caribbean once a year. We typically don't consider going to the same place twice. However, our stay at the Blue Diamond has made us rethink that decision. The customer service, facility, and food were amazing. The food always tasted so fresh and the Mexican dishes were particularly fantastic. Our experience is definitely a memory we won't soon forget. This was hands down one of our best travel experiences.

Great property, amazing food, decent service.. after that downhill....We reserved the pool level suite, great room with amazing wildlife moving through it. Peaceful and serene! Bed on interior matched a sheet of plywood in comfort. A bike was used on property, when you could find one.. Property has amazing scenery, room service is an upcharge, couldnt find ice... oh well. Would stay here again for the food and scenery in same villa.. not for the service.

A magical resort experience unlike any other. It felt like stepping into a serene animal sanctuary. It was pure tranquility from the moment we arrived. First and foremost I’d like to personally thank Señor Martin for ensuring that I had a vegetarian lunch or dinner every evening. I was almost floored when I was handed a conventional menu and they had a plethora of meat options; little to no vegetarian options. The hotel reached out to me when I made the reservation, I told them my dietary preferences. I was told that I’d have to inform the chef the day prior what I would like to have for lunch and dinner the next day. This is unacceptable to me. This was not communicated to me when I made the reservation nor when the hotel reached out to me. Nevertheless, we made it work and for the most part I did enjoy my dinners most nights and the occasional times when I had lunch. Breakfast was a DELIGHT. I was able to have green juice all day long so I did appreciate that. The grounds inside are absolutely beautiful. I loved the trees & the wild animals that roamed around the property. I had the opportunity to see a monkey on one of my afternoon strolls. My personal plunge pool was not working as pictured. I was told upon arrival that I had to inform them 24hours prior if I wanted them to fill it up. What?! Unacceptable to me as far as I’m concerned. ThankGod for the outdoor shower on the roof. The property is getting a little worn down. The view of restaurant from the beach made me apprehensive about the overall condition of the resort. Some of the facilities and fixtures def need replacement or some TLC. Staff warm & friendly
