So my take on boutique hotels is that it's cool if like the unfinished look. It's a small room with minimalist approach. We like the pool right outside our room and the hippy cafe right there. Very convenient location in the centre of the strip. Aside from the lack of toilet paper having to ask for it daily, and the right spaces, it's a meh.

The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and all around excellent. The hotel is small and quaint in a great location. The beds and linen were comfy and clean. The rooms are dated however and in need of renovating: Paint chipping, stained counters etc. The pool area is nice but the water was a tad murky. That said, the people working there is what made our experience lovely.

Clean room great staff amazing location !! But … if you want quiet this is not the place for you .. I’d definitely book this place again but the price reflects the noise till about 2 am .. then quiet .. so if your an early riser this is not for you

Location is amazing if you dont want to hear night life please dont stay here! It did not bother my family at all we enjoyed it lol. Room smelled like poop the entire time we were there Im not sure if it was just my room but I definitely think they have a plumbing issue. You're not aloud to flush tissue. Also they do not offer wash clothes which I thought was weird they only have drying towels and medium hand towels. They must check your room at check out so plan for extra time when leaving. Pool was dirty. On our last day leaving the power went out in our room walking out the door. They dont have blankets or fitted sheets for the bed so the mattress was exposed because the flat sheet kept sliding off the bed. We made it work we weren't in the room much but these are things I wish I knew before booking. I am black and I felt extremely safe police presence was everywhere. Hope this help someone

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. It’s a wonderful property & we will continue to book this property for the next times we visit Playa Del Carmen. It does sit on top of a nightclub so it can be loud, the wifi can be unstable, & there is no elevator but for the rooms, location, & price it’s definitely worth it.

Location and economy

Very well located, right next to the mall that runs through downtiwn Playa del Carmen. Also, very economical for the location and quality of the property. Decorated in an industrial style, was a safe, quiet place to return to at the end of a hectic day

The hotel was centrally located it had a spa , cafe , restaurants all around. Across the street was a shopping mall, at night the area was filled with people having dinner at restaurants and bars with live music. The best part was the friendly staff, Sofia and Alan were absolutely amazing !! Sofia and Alan warmed our hearts and made our stay at the hotel very memorable!!!

Great bargain.

The hotel is in a great location with plenty of options either on premises or in proximity. Our only complaint was how how the hotel room was when arriving due to the old building structure and not running the AC module. The staff was very friendly with the pool being nice and clean.

Amazing location

The hotel is pleasant, and humble, spacious & affordable with all the amenities. The pool was the highlight of our trip and of course the AC. It’s centrally located on 5th avenue with a variety of clubs in every corner. There is a club connected to the hotel so if you’re not here to party I suggest you stay somewhere else noise comes from all angles. Theres a club across the street as well. I can say we had an incredible stay the hotel is clean, communication is clear the workers are the sweetest and do everything to make you feel welcome. Definitely a must stay if you come to playa. So many delicious restaurants around and so close to the beach. 10 out of 10

This property has a wonderful location, right on the corner of 5th Avenue and walkable to the beach and a variety of restaurants. In turn, it can be a little noisy at the night but it didn’t really bother us. The hotel is kept very clean and the decor is charming. We had a wonderful massage at the Spa. Karen at the front desk was very nice, she helped us book our massage and taxis, she gave us information and offered us discounted buffet and beach club. We did try the buffet and it was pretty good. Overall, I would return to this location.

what i thought was very unique about this property was they had various teas downstairs that were very good then when they would bring new towels they would be animals ! i also thought it was so cool that they had hammocks and chair swings part of some rooms. what i didnt enjoy very much was the bathrooms were not as clean as i wouldve felt comfortable in and sometimes i would find a few bugs but it is mexico. Definitely worth it for your money! i would not suggest a room by the pool because it is open to all the hotel so you may wake up with people swimming outside your window!!
