"Clean and comfortable room. We didnt hear any noise from the pub. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you want to stay in Shrewsbury town centre, it is very well placed."

"The room was clean and tidy, but needs updating. T.v.was too small ,it was a bit noisy because our room was opposite a popular pub entrance and was ok after we closed the window. But for the price you can not complain."

"We loved our stay and will return but the housekeeping in the rooms needs to improve (barely acceptable), the bed linen is beautiful though. The setting and the rest of the hotel makes it worth it though!"

"It's in a lovely location and adequate for us as a base, but the place badly needs refurbishment. The lift was out of order, no food available and as a whole it's very tatty."
