"Clean room,with a very comfy bed. Sraff were very pleasant and helpful."

"It is a wonderful historic building, but very run down . Some parts, eg the listed ballroom is closed needing roof repairs. Threadbare carpets, although bedding and towels changed each day there was poor bathroom supplies. I believe it is for sale. So fingers crossed because it’s in a good position with a car park. No resturant, or bar snacks. There is an excellent Spanish tapas restaurant round the corner.m and Peaberry a few yards down the street great for breakfast. "

"Room was cold noisy pipes and drip sound throughout the night - wasn’t fixed despite asking not offered another room - overall disappointing except dinner fish n chips was excellent"

"Breakfast was good, if a little busy! The cutlery suffered the usual dishwasher smudges, but that's kind of expected these days. We didn't request a disabled room, but we were very impressed with the disabled facilities - the low level door spyglass, for instance. Total blockout curtains were welcome for a Sunday morning lie in. Reception/bar/restaurant staff were very pleasant, polite and attentive. "
