"First the bad. We were told we were invited to a "welcome breakfast and tour" when it really was being coerced into a salespitch for their premium travel club that costs in excess of $165,000. The director was one of the rudest people Ive ever met. Now the good - There is a lot of it. We somehow got bumped up to Family select which was very nice. PROPERTY: Well maintained, beautiful, up to date but VERY large complex. BEACH: Plenty of loungers and shade if you want it. Seaweed not cleaned up on weekends, so if it bothers you I would use a pool. BUFFETS: Good. Not amazing, but no one should ever think a buffet will be amazing. El Arrecife was the best A LA CARTE RESTAURANTS: Exceptional - La Paisana was an amazing meal (order the melted Provoleta!!) Sumptouri and El Dorado-not far behind. ROOM: A few small technical issues that were quickly resolved. Clean, spacious, comfortable Pools/bars EVERYWHERE ACTIVITIES: A lot going on every day/night. Walk around-listen for music to find it. UV night-really fun. STAFF: Beyond one person mentioned above-friendly beyond belief. Special shout out to our butler Viktor. He went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable. Quick to respond to any questions and always made sure we were informed of what was going on and enjoying ourselves. Took care of our dinner reservations quickly as well. Also thanks to Michelle, server in the select lobby who was the friendliest person you will ever find and made sure we were always taken care of."
