Easy and fast check in. Close to grocery stores and transport. Lots of parking. Apartment was well equipped. Bed was comfortable. Partial view of the mountains. Staff was nice and friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Loud, air pollution but clean and very cheap.
This is a very noisy and pulluted hotel. Tiny room with one tiny window that leads out to a tremendously trafficed road makes it exeptionally hard to vent the room properly. -Let's just say that you don't open the window until 8-9 o'clock in the evening unless you want to suffocate slowly. Furthermore there are a lot of "tennants" that are not regular travelers that make a lot of ruccus(banging doors, talking loud in the hallway etc.) from early in the morning until around 1 at night. Personally I don't care why you are in Iceland but normal courtesy is a must in my book. These people also smoked indoors every single night for 9d straight so you can forget about the "smoke-free" hotel lable. However if you are imune to loud sounds and don't care about horrendous air quality (I hope the irony is not lost on anyone reading this due to the fact that Icland is known for being the least polluted country in the world) you will find this place to be a steal. I had a double room with 2 beds for only 28$ a night and the place was clean. Finally I have to ecco what another reviewer further up said, -the beds are terrible! I was in Icland on a training camp and my reasonably fit body could not find rest at all.

Comfortable, no-frills
I stayed here for a week on a solo trip and definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a simple, budget-friendly place to stay. The room was small but clean, bright, and comfortable - totally suited my needs. Check-in and check-out are super easy and self-service, but I did see the staff multiple times throughout my stay. They were very friendly. There's also plenty of free parking around the hotel, and a couple of grocery stores within walking distance.

Nice apartment if you need to stay more than one day. On a very congested street. Was able to find parking next to building. Just loud due to the traffic driving by. Not a lot of food options to choose from.

Great location. The hallways could use a coat of paint, but that’s getting pretty picky. The room was clean and large and decked out with pots and pans and coffee maker and everything else we needed. Highly recommend it.

Apartment was fine, worth the price. Location was really not good - I had to taxi to most restaurants and spots I wanted to visit. Maybe worth it if you feel comfortable with public transport and switching buses?

You get what you pay for. The room add a strong smell of sulfur coming from the water. Overall easy to check in and check out, clean, and has parking spaces just close to the property.

Location is often the last pickup and first drop off point for local tours. There’s no lift in the property so you’ll have to bring your luggages up along the stairs. There’s a auto selling machine at lobby with snacks and drinks. The staff is not always here but properly will be here on check-out days, but the lady is sweet and helpful. The apartment is clean and spacious, there’s heater near the bed and inside the toilet. If you want to drink the water do remember to turn the tap to the coldest side and it’s the best tap water you can ever taste. It’s totally no problem! The bed is so soft and comfortable, and there’s a well equipped cooking area. On the other hand, hot water will have some smell that properly comes from the pipe. Besides, the towels are never changed throughout the week and no one would clear your rubbish.

1 night stay after arrival
Location is good and 24 hours check-in and check-out is available by simply taking the keys in an envelope and leaving the keys in a box at G/f lobby respectively. No lift in the hotel and you need to take your luggage upstairs by yourself. Strong smell of water but it seems natural. Noise nuisance in the night mainly due to tapping of water. If you want to just stay only one night /for a short while just after arrival, it is fine. No direct stop by the flybus, you need to get off the bus and take around 10 mins walk to the hotel.

Needed to check in 5 houra earlier and they were ableto accommodate right away. You get what you pay for, rooms were clean, washrooms were clean, and staff was nice. Its a 30 min walk to downtown area.

There was no staff the entire time we stayed here. I needed a can opener for food we bought, and it wasn't included in our room. I thought we would be able to drink the tap water, but it wreaked of sulfur. This also meant that I wreaked of sulfur after taking a shower. We spent a lot of money on water because of the poor water conditions. The kitchenette was very usable, and we were able to use it for our entire stay to save money. The bed was comfortable, and the linens and towels were clean. I wouldn't stay here again due to the sulfur issue. We needed to buy water to brush our teeth, make tea, prepare food, and drink. I would only recommend this place if you don't mind paying about $10-$20 a day for water.

I had never stayed at a hotel where there was no staff visible, on duty, but otherwise it was clean and acceptable. I also wasn't used to going to the potty down the hall, but can't beat the price. Very efficient and clean. Thank you.

Good place to stay for the money. Our room have a nice little kitchenette. But the room was small and the beds were marginally comfortable. The location was great with lots of shopping and food within walking distance. The staff was great and the hotel was well maintained. Parking was easy.
