River Palace Hotel

Via Flaminia 33, Rome - Map
"Excellent location "
A lovely hotel with staff who could not do enough for you to make you comfortable. Very clean everywhere! The location was brilliant very easy walking distance to all the tourist attractiins and metro station in the doorsrep! My only critism would be, very small room and got very hot, and the breakfast in my opinion wasn't great. There was a free buffet every night with sandwiches crisps and nibbles thathe was perfect! I would certainly stay again. Thank you river palace!

"Excellent Hotel in the heart of Rome."
20 minutes from the colosseum, and 30 or so to the Roman Forum. This hotel is in the perfect spot. Comfortable enough bedding, delicious food at the restaurant. 9/10 place, absolutely excellent.

"Hotel in the center of ancient Rome"
We were very pleased with the hotel, staff and facilities. There were no problems with our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located near major sites in Rome including the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Also very near major churches, including S. Maria Maggiore. We very much recommend the hotel.

Via Turati Filippo 16, Rome - Map
"Very convenient for exploring the sites of Rome"
Conveniently placed to explore Rome on foot (best way to see the city as you miss so much beauty when travelling on public transport) or on buses, trams or trains.

Albergo Cesari Hotel

Via di Pietra 89a, Rome - Map
"Good central location"
Hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of main attractions. One member of staff was particularly helpful and gave us plenty of tips for our stay. Staying in this hotel means there is no need for public transport, we walked everywhere during our stay, even from and to the Roma Termini. We stayed 4 nights which I felt was a bit too long in Rome, the main attractions take one to two days to get around and apart from really expensive shopping there is little else to do. If you enjoy visiting churches however this could take a while as there are lots! The amount of poverty in Rome struck me instantly (you get this in most cities but it seemed to be more of a problem here than most places I have experienced before). Beware of pick pockets, beggars (there were a lot of these), people touting for attraction tickets (on some streets they were every 20m) and there were also lots of 'looky looky' men selling selfie sticks and various other items and on average we were approached over 20 times per day. Food was really good, stay away from expensive piazzas, I was stung for 15 pound for a hot chocolate, read menus fully. Stick to restaurants in the backstreets just off the piazzas such as piazza navova. All in all enjoyable but not what I envisaged Rome to be.

Welcome Piram Hotel

Via Giovanni Amendola 7, Rome - Map
"Great Location"
Feb2017 We stayed for a week at the Piram. The rooms ar smaller than most your would see in North America, but who cares when you're in Rome! We walked to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountian, and the Spanish steps from our hotel. There is also the Rome Termini train station one block away. The station is connected to the airport which is about €11 per person instead of €48 for a taxi. The Termini station also has the A and B line subway connected. The room only has a shower. Will stay there next time I am in Rome.

The hotel offered transfer to and from the hotel at a reasonable rate much cheaper than a taxi. We liked that offer.
