We had the best time in Gleeson's for the new year. The staff are so friendly & helpful, the hotel is warm, bright and comfortable with an old world charm about it. Gleeson's restaurant do a delicious breakfast with plenty of options for all tastes. We only had one evening meal at their restaurant & it really did live up to all the reviews! Roscommon town has everything... shopping, dining, walks, drinks. It's a friendly & safe town with loads to offer. All in all it was one of the best weekends away, thank you all for looking after us & out little dog so well!

Room was lovely, cozy and comfortable. Very clean. Good food. My only issue was the attitude from one or two of the waitresses, would have preferred not to have been made feel embarrassed over my food preferences. Everything else was perfect.

We have a small team of staff, most of whom have been with us for years and we constantly receive excellent feedback on them from guests. It was a nice, old property. Our room was small and could use some updates. The staff was warm and friendly and the dining room was welcoming and offered good food.

Charming Gleesons
Very welcoming greeting, good food, recently refurbished room (#110) with a lovely walk-in shower. The only down side was the room was a tad small and could not accommodate a chair, a stool was available which was tucked in under the dresser. The position of the the restaurant is very central but parking is a bit tricky.

A satisfactory stay.
Very satisfied with Gleeson's Hotel. The receptionist greeted us with a welcoming smile and pointed us to our room, which was old-style but very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped with a good strength shower over a bath (relaxing in a hot bath, I thoroughly enjoyed using as we only have a shower at home) We had previously booked a meal in the restaurant for 7-45, but by 6 pm after our long day visiting relatives, we asked if we could have our meal now, with the staff happy to take our order of Goats cheese salad main course for myself and the Lasagna with salad for my wife, and a side of chunky chips and onion rings, which were all excellent and came with everything that was stated on the menu. For dessert we both ordered the baked fruit crumble with custard, it was tasty but not to our liking as it was a layer of mixed seasonal fruit, pastry crumble, and custard baked in the dish which made it thick and heavy, as we expected something a little lighter to finish off our excellent meal (Like having the fruit and a light crumble baked together with a pouring custard to go on top, which would have been more to 'our own taste') The next morning we had a wide choice of breakfast to choose from the menu which was all-inclusive in our BnB price. Overall it was a satisfactory stay. Thanking all the staff for their good service.

A very nice basic hotel. Classic old fashion appeal. We ate at dinner at the in house restaurant - which was enjoyable. A full breakfast is included. Staff are friendly and efficient.
