Great for a 4 night break

The place is super clean, the rooms, public areas, pool etc. We had half board and all the food was top quality and the staff were very attentive and hard working. I would certainly recommend Blue Bay Beach Club. Thank you all.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. Everything – from the décor to the cleanliness – was at the highest standard. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. You can really see the attention to detail, which makes guests feel truly cared for. Food: The food at the hotel deserves special praise. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. There’s a wide variety of dishes to choose from, so everyone can find something they enjoy. Breakfasts were rich and diverse, and dinners felt like a real culinary experience. Service: The staff were outstanding – polite, professional, and always ready to help. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and do everything with a smile. Thanks to them, the whole stay was extremely pleasant. Summary: This hotel truly deserves the highest rating. Amazing and breathtaking views. This gem is tucked away in a small village that has everything within walking distance within 5 minutes. Puerto Rico and Mogan beaches are about a 20-30 minute drive away, so you'll want a rental car. The property is gorgeous and very family-friendly. However, the rooms are very dated, but it was perfect and offered all the amenities we were looking for on our vacation. The two-bedroom apartment was enough space for our family of five.

Super value for money, ideal location if you visit Maspalomas and surroundings, easy to park for free around. In Oct holidays: If you did not choose the option with meals included, you can still eat at the restaurant but have to wait until the rush has passed (priority for clients who chose meals included). A shame that they close the access to the beach, I chose this hotel partly for this. Overall we really enjoyed this hotel

Property is in a prime location, staff is very kind and polite. Loved every interaction with the staff. However the food is mediocre and most the amenity such as the hot tub was not Properly working our whole trip and the sauna was not available during our stay. There was construction in progess so it shows there are going to be improvements to the property.

Large apartment

We had a very short stay. The apartment was as big as we could stay for 2 or 3 weeks. There were plenty of space for clothes etc. The bed was quite hard if you are sensitive, otherwise everything was good. The pool area had a beautiful sea view. Unfortunately the pool and jacuzzi was cold, probably around 18 degrees in March, otherwise we liked the garden and pool area. We would not call it a 4 star hotel, we call it a 3 star hotel. Very affordable hotel with breakfast.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel! Need refurbished immediately and pay some attention to details! The view it s wow as long you stay second floor or up! The food it s not the worst but are more to be improved. Even the canteen area it s a very small one! Be aware at the dinner you don’t have any drinks included iff you choose half-board. Try to make sure they give you the closest rooms from the desk office! Iff not you will get lost inside hotel! It s a verry big one and sometimes looks like a maze. Overall it s a 3 star hotel with a nice view and nothing else.

The bed was terrible, no mattress topper, so all springs pressed on the back. The pillows were terrible, we purchase a new pillows from local Jysk, that it was possible sleep. The pool water is not heated. In March the water temperature was 17 Cel. Otherwise, facility and food as can be expected in this price.

We had a nice stay here 21/03 - 24/03/2025 it’s a solid 7/8 out of 10. We paid a very reasonable price, all the staff were really nice, beds were comfy and clean, pool restaurant/bar was great and it’s a short walk to a beach, restaurants and shops. The view from the rooms is also great, particularly levels 2-6, rooms 16-20 on each level. Things that let it down were: 1. Pool is a big with plenty of sun loungers, but it’s a bit rough a round the edges. Missing and faded tiles, black grout etc. They are making some effort, and appear to be in the middle of resurfacing the area around the pool. 2. The rooms and bathrooms were clean but let down by fixtures that could do with replacing. E.g. Taps caked in limescale, rust stain on the bath from old fixtures, but everything worked. Over all we had a nice stay here and it was ideal for our long weekend. I would recommend it to others just be mindful of the points above, but for the price you can look past these.

Not 4 star nor ‘upmarket’ as described!

The apartment in itself was ok but did not have a ceiling fan in the living area and the air conditioning in the bedroom wasn’t very efficient. However, when we asked for a fan, it was immediately delivered to our room. The reception team was outstanding and made every effort to make things right: our shower wasn’t draining properly and the maintenance team sorted the problem very quickly. Although it looked inviting from afar, we did not use the pool as it had so many missing tiles and green ‘mildew’ on the water line. I understand that this is currently being addressed. The pool bar staff were very pleasant and friendly and the grounds around the area were well maintained. The cleaning team provided excellent service. The staff work very hard and must feel quite frustrated when they receive negative feedback about the general state of the hotel: it’s not their fault! The whole place needs a tremendous amount of money spent on it so that’s it lives up to its full potential, because it could be absolutely stunning!

Old hotel

The hotel has seen better days. Pretty uncomfortable mattress. Overall it’s worn out quite badly. Mould in the ceilings in the bathroom.
