"Lovely hotel, really impressed on arrival, the staff in particular are lovely! It’s also pretty well priced. After a few days you do start to notice it’s getting a bit tired in places and could do with a bit of a refresh. The pool(s) are fantastic, not sure about the other comments re being able to get sunbeds all the time - if you arnt down before 9 you’re going to struggle."

"We’ve been staying at the Santa Barbara for many years, and have written about it before. It’s still a lovely place to stay if you want the freedom of an apartment and don’t want to be too close to the main resorts. Whilst the hotel isn’t your normal all-inclusive, the staff are excellent, and the hotel itself is situated right next to a beautiful rugged coastline. The area is quiet, but there are plenty of places to eat and some charming villages, such as Los Abrigos and El Medano. Highly recommended"

Grand Muthu Golf Plaza Hotel

"Handy spot close to the south airport, which is why we booked it for a late evening arrival with a toddler. It’s a large hotel and, as others have mentioned, a little dated in places, but the apartment rooms are spacious and comfortable. Being on the ground floor made it really easy to access the restaurant, where the buffet breakfast was excellent. The only downside was that an airport shuttle was advertised on Expedia, but when we contacted the hotel in advance to book this in, they said it wasn’t actually available. This was one of the reasons we chose the hotel, given our late arrival with a small child, so it was a bit inconvenient. That said, it was easy enough to get a taxi, there were plenty available, and the journey is under 10 minutes (around €20)."

"Absolutely spotlessly clean room cleaning staff are very helpful 👍. The staff are all very helpful nothing is to much trouble for them you have a problem it's sorted out. The whole place is spotlessly clean all the time with the ground staff. That's i will be going back and back again."

"Diese Unterkunft ist aussergewöhnlich. Das Studio bietet alles, was ein Paar braucht. Für 4 Personen scheint es uns zu klein. Wunderbar ist die freie Benützung der Umgebung des Haupthauses mit Pool, schöner Lounge und den Liegestühlen. Die Unterkunft bietet rundum Sichtschutz. Die Lage auf der Insel ist sehr gut, der Wind ist viel weniger als am Meer. Wir haben in der Umgebung San Miguel erstaunlich gut gegessen. Ein Auto ist zu empfehlen."
