"There was a lot of decorating going on particularly along our corridor, and they are presumably going to improve all bedrooms eventually. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the hotel was. Bar area really good and very busy. Being able to pre book parking is a bonus and worth doing. Breakfast slightly disappointing as they kept running out of things and there were a few queues but what we had was good and it was very busy. Would definitely stay there again. It doesn't appear to be a Shearings hotel anymore ."
