"We had an excellent time at the leonardo glasgow. Everywhere was spotless. Staff were all friendly. We had a view of the river. The breakfast was outstanding, literally everything you could want, traditional cooked, continental, omelette station, cereals, breads, sweets, porridge, mackerel and juices. The only complaint, which is small, was that the bed was a little hard for our liking. Oh, and the smell when you walk into the hotel, divine."

"Historical hotel right inside the train station . The only drawback is that most trains that have first class don’t stop here but at Queen St station . There is a free shuttle between two stations, but due to political protests that day the shuttle was not running . "

"Lovely hotel and really close to city centre shops, bars and restaurants. Room smelt of smoke on entering but it was otherwise a comfortable room. "

"My wife and I had a great stay at the McDonald resort. Our room had spectacular views across the front lawn and loch. The room was beautiful but our only comment would be that for such a large room the TV should be bigger. We just relaxed in the room rather than going for dinner. We ordered room service and the food was great! Bedding and bed was great and we had a great sleep. Would definitely recommend to any couple wanting a relaxing break."
