Unrivalled Holiday Staycation, Ty Cyfoes is Welsh for Contemporary House and this exclusive, luxurious and uniquely designed property certainly achieves the accolade of being of its time, if not well ahead and arguably a blueprint for how low energy sustainable low carbon footprint housing should be constructed.

Ty Cyfoes has been meticulously detailed internally to an exceptionally high standard that exuberates the “wow factor”. Guests will enjoy the attention to detail and emphasis that has been placed on exceeding 4* hotel standards, whilst creating a sense of place of home from home to enable guests to relax, unwind and rejuvenate at any time of the year.

The open plan ground floor layout is perfect for entertaining and relaxing. It’s combination of scandic style glulam features, contemporary oak fins, together with the high specification industrial style fully equipped kitchen (including wine cooler) that incorporates striking LED feature lighting to the island unit and storage areas. The focus on lighting providing a unique scene setting extends to the “bar style” faux leather bench set, feature full length pendant lights over the double height dining/entertainment area and within each of the treads of the bespoke solid oak contemporary staircase that illuminate to create a soft ambient environment in the evening, via touch screen controls.

Fresh and conditioned air is constantly supplied to all rooms via the whole house ventilation system that provides both heat recovery and cooling in those hot summer months to ensure a restful nights sleep.

The luxurious surroundings of the open plan space are further enhanced by a WiFi controlled Sonos sound system – simply download the Sonos App and play your music library.

An integrated wood burner provides an enhanced level of relaxation during those cold winter months, albeit the underfloor heating throughout together with electric towel radiators is more than adequate to enjoy a warm and cosy environment.

Upstairs there is a double height gallery space that provides a striking internal feature with large openable electric rooflights, a timber cladded feature wall that leads into the south facing master bedroom complete with Juliet Balcony, LED bed head lighting, reading lights and partial electric blinds. The master ensuite is fully fitted with Calcatta Porcelain tiles and equipped with a low energy rain sense tropical shower, LED feature lighting and mirror, electric toothbrush chargers and an electrically operated velux rooflight.

There are three other double bedrooms, each with their unique specification of finish, one of which also has a connecting ensuite with weathered effect timber porcelain tiles and similar features to the master ensuite. Each of the bedrooms also contain feature LED lighting, reading lights and ample wardrobe space, with bedroom four having a full height glazed screen with openable door to a Juliet balcony.

Externally there is a large laid to levels south facing entertainment area with porcelain wood effect tiles and an outdoor kitchen space, which is accessed from either the utility exit door or the triple sliding doors from the kitchen. An eight-seater dining and sofa set provides the perfect Al Fresco setting for use during the spring and summer months.

The soft landscaping is beautifully tendered and maintained with colourful all year around planting that provides privacy and the south facing aspect provides all day and evening sunshine.
