"Room very spacious and really comfortable bed and pillows, clean and my only pick there, no sockets by the bed. Breakfast was great but cold. Buffet style. Dinner exceptional husband had shepherds pie. Staff all lovely and helpful."

"7 of us stayed here to celebrate our joint 50th birthdays last weekend and what an amazing place to do it! This property is phenomenal! It’s spacious but cosy, and the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing weekend with friends. We made great use of the sauna which takes only 30 mins to heat up (and some of us braved the cold bath!) We made friends with the locals (Bebe and the sheep!) and went for a walk around the local village and woods. Cyntra was so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, even providing a homemade cake on arrival! Our only issue would be that we didn’t want to leave - what Cyntra has created is a beautiful countryside haven that’s modern and fresh without feeling out of place, the property has everything you could need and feels like a real home away from home. The pics online don’t do it justice - we were blown away when we arrived. Couldn’t recommend this property or the host enough! Thanks for an amazing weekend Cyntra. X(Also recommend the George Hotel in Easingwold for food - delicious! And the wait staff are legends). "

"What a gem - in quiet village - our go to place to stay to visit Designer Outlet and York city the next day - staff extremely welcoming and helpful - cosy country atmosphere -our second stay and will be going back to try the super menu for Sunday lunch - thanks team for making our stays so perfect every time !!!"
