"Very welcoming & very nice inn. Very friendly staff, great food & drinks. Delicious breakfast (and dinner)! Parking right next to the pub. For us it was the perfect place to stay for our trip to the Warner Brother Studios in London, only minutes away by car. "
"The room was rather small but adequate for 2 nights. It was rather a long steep way to get to our room as it was top of the pub and we are oaps! Very noisy on Saturday night but not bad on Sunday. Basically it needs refurbishment. No breakfast available too. "

"In my line of work, I found that Ricky Road was perfect for ease of moving around Watford and the surrounding areas using public transport or by car.
Blackout curtains would have been useful due to working nights, but you can't have it all. All in all I enjoyed my stay 10 out of 10

"What let’s this down.. is not advertising more that you have to park in a carpark, not on site.. the recording on Option 4 when you ring them sounds like they’re saying WD17. 2PF, I listen to loads of times then spoke to receptionist and she told me he was WD17 2PS.. but the staff are amazing Askwin (think how spell his name, in the restaurant looks after you like you’re his best friend he can’t do enough for you. Anything you seem to want is never too much trouble. He is friendly and very polite and so helpful… Matthew in Bar and restaurant is very friendly and helpful and again can’t do enough to help you.. these two see to everyone and needs and the rest of the staff are friendly but these two seem to go the extra mile.."

"I booked with the intention of proposing to me lovely girlfriend. The reception arranged with my friends access to decorate the room whilst we were out to dinner. Staff were amazing, location was gorgeous and food option 10/10….. SHE SAID YES!!!! A perfect trip and over the moon I chose the Grove"

"Lovely stay at this hotel. Very easy and pleasant check in, staff very polite. Absolutely ideal location, close to railway station and Harry Potter shuttle bus stop. Our room was spotlessly clean, beds and pillows very comfortable. Superb breakfast with great chose. Close to railway line but the windows kept out the noise."
