"I loved the ambiance of the hotel especially the decor in the big room around the bar and dining area. The staff was very helpful. We didn't avail of the breakfast but looking at the diners, I saw that they were enjoying their food! Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Figueroa for its close proximity to anywhere you want to go in downtown LA. Most events and venues, malls and restaurants are in walking distance. Enjoy LA close up, book this hotel in your next trip."

"I liked the bedding is white you can see that it’s clean. The room smells fresh and also the hallway. Breakfast had a variety of food choices. The amenities were excellent. The only downside was the train blocking the road we had to wait almost 20 minutes in order for us to arrived at the hotel."

"This property was booked specifically for the rooftop pool and views, which were meant to be the highlight of the trip. Unfortunately, the room was incredibly cramped, and the primary advertised amenity was completely inaccessible. The pool deck was closed off for a loud private event that was completely inappropriate for a standard hotel guest environment. Staff on-site gave conflicting timelines about when the event would end, but the disruption lasted the entire evening. Because the pool has limited daytime hours, there was no opportunity to use it the following morning either. The customer service recovery was nonexistent. Multiple staff members acknowledged the issue and promised a substantial refund and managerial follow-up. Instead, only a token credit was issued, and subsequent promises to investigate and return phone calls were completely ignored. It is poor business to block access to a major advertised amenity without prior notice to paying guests, but the broken promises and total lack of professional follow-through are the main reasons this property is not recommended."
