"I was under the impression that this was a regular hotel with a front desk until I got a message from the owner about instructions on how to get into the building. It involved 2 sets of fob keys in addition to the physical key for the room. Having said that, he was available when I buzzed the intercom and walked me through the process. Best Western Premier Hotel Royal Santina
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were amazing and very kind. The room was nice and clean. It being next to the Termini was perfect for us as we were on the go a lot. "
"We loved the Social Hub. It’s a cool concept for a hotel and we felt more like we were in a resort. The breakfast buffets had incredible vegetarian and vegan options, the roof top pool was gorgeous, and the hotel common areas were spacious and well appointed. I cannot believe how lush and green the grounds are- or that the hotel occupies so much property!
It’s a bit far from the typical sights that someone might come to Rome for. We were just stopping for one night and had already spent a few days in Trestevere, so we didn’t even try to get to the touristy spots. It looks like a reasonable transit or taxi ride though. "
"Nice hotel close to Rome main train station. Lots of dining options close by. Walkable to some but not all tourist places. Coliseum and Spanish steps are 20 minutes away by foot. Great breakfast."
Enjoy a show at Aula Magna dell'Universita la Sapienza, a popular theatre in Rome. Visit the stunning cathedral and notable monuments in this vibrant area.
