"This is a lovely.vig spacious hotel with plenty of space in and around the property. The staff are brilliant, the bar area is great, the breakfast is excellent and the rooms are lovely and well decorated and themed on Haydock Racecourse and Horse Racing somits perfect for reaching enthusiasts and anybody else. The air-conditioning isn't the best in the rooms and the hallways at the rear of the building but the reception and communal areas at the front are well air conditioned. We were supplied fans and the blackout curtains kept the room cool formour second night. I think someone, pretty the previous guests, decided to leave the heating on full in the middle of a heatwave. I wish I would have thought of that one when I was a child!! Ha ha."

"The hotel was basic but super clean.No cups in room but reception produced tea making essentials when asked. The young lady who booked us in was lovely. The man who provided tea making bits was super nice. I managed to leave my fan remote behind and it hadn't turned up when I first rang but another lovely man took my details and said he would see if he could track it down. He rang me back , having found it ,and asked what I would like to do I asked if they could post it to me which they agreed to do at no cost. All in all a nice basic clean hotel with hidden super stars as staff. Highly recommended!!"

"Nice hotel with an interesting vibe. Didnt have time to use the pool but it looked big and excellent. Room was roomy and cool (A bonus when outside temperature was 33 degrees)"
