"There were cockroaches in the outside snack bar restaurant that was ugly to see.
Getting to your room was a hassle as there were no lifts and loads of stairs."
"Great hotel, not too big, large selection of food, great beach at low tide (though not directly next to the hotel), no shelter from strong winds on the beach (e.g. rocks), very friendly staff, nothing to do in the immediate vicinity (except surfing/kitesurfing)."

"We stayed in the club for 3 nights, everything was perfect, adult area was lovely, the pool was heated, pool bar was great.. we even had a free bar from 6 til 8 every night where we mixed our own drinks.. All the staff where fantastic, Highly rate this hotel for both comfort, quality and position right on the marina…"
"The hotel was very beautiful. Worth to update to the superior room. We had the most amazing view. The only criticism is that during meals, lunch and dinner, the drinks take a bit too long to come. Sometimes you wait for the entirety of your meal. Everything else was perfect. "

"Very nice and clean hotel. Only downside was I booked a room with a king bed but they gave us a room with 2 single beds. I did not complain but my mattress was ready to go to bin ! Husband’s was ok tho.

"We had a wonderful 9 days at Barcelo Playa Blanca. It was a wonderful hotel with amazing facilities, incredibly clean and rooms were fantastic.
This was pretty much the first time we’ve done a half board basis and the value was amazing, saving us a fortune for a family of 6 where we normally spend upwards of £150 a day on food and eating out.
So overall a fantastic trip, a superb hotel with great staff, service and amazing facilities. "
