"We had a great stay Really friendly staff"

"A fabulous hotel that goes the extra mile to make guests feel valued and comfortable. Extremely doggy friendly, with separate zones for guests unaccompanied by their 4 legged companions. Direct access to the beach, Ayshire Coastland Path further enhance the experience. I would definitely highly recommend The Waterside Hotel. Thank you"

"This is a great wee hotel! Lovely clean, spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff and delicious freshly cooked breakfast. "

"The staff were lovely. The hotel is a beautiful old building but it could use some updates."

"Spotless room, lovely hosts, brilliant breakfast Couldn’t have asked for anything else"

"We just had one night here before catching the early ferry to Isle of Arran and it was perfect. Good location with allocated parking spot. Easy check in with clear instructions upfront. Well equipped room, nicely decorated and a comfortable bed. We had room 6 at the back, which was very quiet. Also convenient for eating out in town. Would recommend."

"Loved my stay"

"Ok room, bathroom looks old and tired but works adequately. It’s an old building so don’t expect luxury but all was ok. Good breakfast and helpful staff."

"The food was delicious, really enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back."

"The property was in a quiet location near to the town and shops. Good choice of restaurants and eateries nearby. Very clean and comfortable place. Good beds. All the amenities you would require for self-catering. Very enjoyable stay. Would use this place again."

"We found everything at the resort to be excellent. We did not have time to take advantage of the pools and exercise equipment, nor some of the other facilities available. The restaurant buffet breakfasts were superb. However, we did not like the burgers, which were required by law to be well done."

"The hotel is spotless and very comfortable. Dog friendly and easy parking with good EV charging"

"The bedroom and bathroom were good. The bed was firm but comfortable. The place overall has a lot of character and I'd stay there again."
