Make your stay in Shetland unique in this newly refurbished A-Frame home with fabulous views and facilities. Small, yet surprisingly spacious and airy, the Shetland light pours in through the large South facing windows, highlighting the property’s distinctive features.

Located in an elevated position in the beautiful and peaceful village of Whiteness, and overlooking Whiteness Voe, you will be treated to one of the best views Shetland has to offer. Whiteness is right at the heart of Shetland and is considered the beginning of the sunny Westside. Lerwick is just 15 minutes away and Scalloway 10 minutes, so this is a superb, central location to explore the islands from, and equally good as a quiet and relaxing retreat.

With an emphasis on quality and a desire to give you something you won’t find anywhere else, we have carefully selected the items placed throughout the property, from the furnishings to the soap. Make your Shetland stay that bit more special by adding the quality that Da Peerie Cabin provides.


THE SPACE

Da Peerie Cabin has an open plan living area, kitchen, dining room and private shower room on the ground floor. Floor to ceiling windows bring incredible sea views, that you will never tire of looking at, right into the living room. A spiral staircase leads you up to the bedroom, which has a super-comfortable double bed and a large South facing window that gives you another opportunity to take in that amazing view, even when you’re lying in bed. Additional sleeping is available using the sofa-bed downstairs.

Outside, there’s a large, decked area with ample seating where you can breathe in the fresh Shetland air, enjoy a meal or just relax with a glass of your favourite tipple, a cup of coffee from the coffee machine or one of the teas from the varied selection provided.

You get super-fast broadband, with easy QR code login, and Netflix streaming completely free of charge.

Free parking for up to two vehicles is provided at the front of the property.

A washing machine/dryer in the kitchen, pull-out washing line attached to the property, small clothes horse for inside drying, and an iron mean all your laundry needs are met.

A small amount of additional storage space is available in the shed, but it is not big enough to accommodate bikes and other large items.

The spiral staircase is a feature of the property, but it isn’t suited to everyone. It has low head clearance in a couple of places, it is not recommended that children under the age of 12 use it and it is not accessible for individuals with mobility limitations.
