"This was a beautiful lodge (hotel) The atmosphere was so nice. Though the outside needs a bit of sprucing up I would go again. My mistake I did not check to see if there was an elevator"

"We stayed for a couple of weeks while my son was doing some work experience in the area. Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome there. Breakfast was excellent and well worth adding on. The hotel is in a great location to explore Andover and the surrounding area."

"I had a whirlwind stop, not getting to the hotel till 9.30pm, what was nice, was to be shown to the room and not just handed a key. Room was spacious and modern, lovely and clean with everything you need. Breakfast was excellent. I didn't get chance to explore but the setting at the rear with the river looked glorious."

"We came to the Norton Park 3 years ago and returned because it was so excellent. Whereas the hotel is still amazing, standards have slipped unfortunately. There are a small number of staff that have so much potential but lack management guidance. The grounds are magnificent but the fabulous woodland walk that was there 3 years ago has become overgrown so the walks we had with our dog were contained more to the manor house and hotel which was a shame. We also missed the rope swing that hung from the bought of the tree by the pond. Would still recommend"

"Beautiful property located in Chilwack, just outside the main Southampton area. The property is well maintained with well appointed rooms and amenities. Our rooms were spacious and bright, even with being located on the 1st floor. We had opted for the breakfast included rate, and thankful we were for the choice. Lovely tea, coffee, fruit, pastries, cereal as well as hot items. The hotel itself is a little outside the city centre, so a taxi is highly recommended for about 15 quid. We headed back into the city centre last night for a couple for a couple of drinks and food at the Scholars Arms. Again, great experience. Remember, you have to order at the bar as there is no table service. One single complaint about the hotel, if I may, our bed was not comfortable at all. It was like sleeping on the box spring only, as the mattress was either not existent or needed to be replaced. Otherwise, lovely!!"

"Very nice old inn with abundant charm and a gently rolling countryside feel that makes navigating the halls a challenge after a few pints in the bar. The staff was very friendly and happily offered a recommendation for an indian restaurant across the street. The room was very clean and the bathroom was very modern. Great on site breakfast. The full English breakfast kept me full for a long day of site seeing at Stonehenge. If we’re ever lucky enough to be back in the area we will definitely stay again."
