"Throughout my stay I was perpetually irritated by the fact that you have to show up at the pool around 7am to put an object to claim a poolside chair. Literally, people are putting playing cards down on banks of chairs. We were told this by another guest after arriving in the afternoon, and it proved out everday thereafter. The other locations for extra guests are by a restaurant about 200' away that includes picnic tables or an artifiicial turf field equally distant that had no umbrellas most days. Sitting on the picnic table benches got old very fast. We chose this resort as it was family friendly and hoped our child would enjoy meeting some other kids. He did and that was great, but they wanted to stay at the pool most of the time, so getting a chair on the beach didn't add much value for us. The staff were nice, committed to customer service and the food was very good for the most part. We won't come back here, because the pool issue was absurd and sitting on a picnic table bench was annoying. "

"Hôtel is ok, but not « boutique «  level. You are welcomed by someone in an office, handing beach towels and that is it. No water bottles in the room, bed was average and looked very cheap. No beach in front you can walk to the nearest access 5min away. There was supposed to have a coffee pot, but we never saw it. On the good side it is near the Luquillo food street which you could walk to. "

"We loved this apartment- the location is near so many great local beaches, minutes from the rainforest!The apartment itself is so charming- it was blissful to fall asleep to the sounds of frogs and birds- beds comfy, apartment spotless, great balcony with ocean and rainforest views!Mary and Jeff are gracious hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! "

"Host and villa/apartment were amazing. Kids loved the private pool for the villa just a few minutes walk from the apartment. 5 minute drive to the private beach with beach front parking. Resort and villa extremely safe and well kept. 15 minutes from a nice grocery store to stock the kitchen for the week. 15 minutes from the rainforest. Cannot beat the value of this stay with the location and quality/cleanliness of the apartment. Host does an impeccable job maintaining the property. Plenty of places to sleep and very family friendly. 10/10 would recommend"
