Charged us extra for a beach cleaning cleaning fee but not once did we see anyone cleaning.

I stayed here solo for my birthday trip for about six days in August the hotel is beautiful so was my room it was clean, and the view was so refreshing, housekeepers literally came in every day to change sheets and replenish my towels. The staff was friendly hats off to Ricardo making my solo birthday trip more memorable. The restaurant there has some pretty decent food! Definitely did not disappoint, especially after getting food at the nearby Los Chachalacos place was the absolute worst I’ve had!! ( go elsewhere or just stick to the restaurant) also this hotel was so close walking distance to the nightlife. I would definitely stay here again.

The Seadust Cancun was a nice property, and several staff members were very sweet and helpful to us during our stay. We enjoyed many of the restaurants (the Mexican was my favorite but note it is only open for lunch). Our standard room was huge and very clean and we had an amazing view of the ocean even though we didn't pay the extra $600 for an ocean view. The rooms were very cool and at night, the entire inside of the resort was much cooler than during the day. It had a fun club on the 2nd floor that we enjoyed. Elevators worked great and didn't take too long (we were on the 10th floor). What I didn't like was that you were not allowed to have your drink in the pool. Everything was plastic and when you are in the pool just hanging out, it is fun to have a drink but it was NOT allowed. Even keeping your drink on the side of the pool was a no-no. The sargasm was horrible and they did not have it cleaned up on the beach as other hotels did. The sargasm was not the hotel's fault of course, however, there was not a lot of beach front to clean up and it would have been nice if they had. If you sit in a beach chair, note the cabanas obstruct your beach view. There was no beach bar as several videos showed. Other than that, for the price we paid, it was a very nice vacation. We enjoyed the north Cancun beaches that had zero sargasm and loved those days. For the price, we would go here again.
