No air conditioning so the rooms were a little stuffy- not much sound barrier between rooms so it was quite noisy. Outdoors area were well kept. Tried to golf but were required to buy new golf shoes as only certain types were acceptable.

Right on the eastern most portion of the royal mile, perfectly placed for quick walks all throughout Edinburgh. A little pricel however but we were there during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival so you may get better rates at a different time. The room was comfortable and the staff very helpful, with. I’ve places to visit and eat as well as keeping us stocked.

"Room is OK, but no shampoo, conditioner, and no hair dryer in the room. No phone to call front desk. You have to go to the front desk and get new towels or everything you need. No cleaning while I was staying for five days. No trash bag change, nothing. Good location and superb breakfast."
