"The hotel was very clean and modern. All the staff that I met were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location was close to all the places I wanted to visit in the Old Town and close to the bus station. Would stay here again!"

"It has the best location, two minutes walk from the train station, centrally located in The Royal Mile. It is very close to restaurants, and shops. The bed was very comfortable! There is an ongoing remodeling and they start at 7 am. And the lift was out of service and there were signs for reception and none for the lift. We went around our floor a couple of times. The bathroom sink gets clogged easily."

"Air conditioning was weak, we woke up a few times hot. The room was stuffy and dated. It’s not a luxury experience, it was average. The rest of the hotel was lovely and the food was excellent. Wouldn’t come and stay again but would eat here."

"Staff at reception excellent. Had a window free room, very compact and warm, but ok for one night. Very handy for train station right across road ."
