South West England Pet-friendly Holidays

The room was roomy and comfy, but there were some dusty spots on the surfaces in both the bedroom and bathroom. The cleaning staff could definitely use some more care . I was a little startled to find something curly and hairy on the bathroom counter when I checked in , but it turned out to be just an old eyelash. Additionally, the bath towels were old and stiff. On the positive side, breakfast was very good, with plenty of hot and cold, sweet and savory options to suit everyone’s preferences.

Good size room and bed was very comfortable. Only stayed one night to attend a party but I would stay again.

Request on Expedia form for early arrival was not communicated. Bathroom was not clean, loo unflushed. Wi fi was not given on arrival Phone contact to reception was not clear on the room phone When we dialled zero no one answered despite several attempts But A comfortable bed and sheets and handy phone charging Reception helpful

Communication was excellent. Easy to access with information provided. Room was immaculate. Has everything you need and the bed was really comfortable. Would stay again as felt so relaxing.

Classic English accommodations. An updated old Inn, I'll guess 1700s, complete with neighborhood pub on ground floor. Ceilings are still low, hit my head, but learned quickly. I got room 3, a little noisy from staff congregation outside, get a diff one yourself. Old timey pull chain on toilet , hilarious. Cool little village too, with fish n chips shop, but the fish n chips in The Crown Inn restaurant were great. We stayed here purposely for the UK experience vs boring corporate hotel marble and glass towers. Well worth the extra taxi fare.

Right from check in to the entire stay, it was comfortable and hassle free. Location is perfect with beach just walking distance away from the resort. The property was clean with all devices and appliances in very good working condition. The living area of our suite was big and good enough for our little one to play. It was provided with basic food stuff and the fridge had juices,butter,cheese & milk so the immediate need was sorted. Domino and 4 in a row were also provided for kids to play - a thoughtful way of hospitality. We’d definitely book it again when we visit St Ives again. Definitely recommend it to families looking for a relaxing holiday with kids.

The pool was excellent, the staff were great and the room was perfect for us. Will definitely consider going there again.

Can't know it for the price paid. Spotless room and had a massive comfy bed. Staff were welcoming upon arrival and was a lovely stop over on my way to Cornwall

Overall our stay was OK - what wasn't great was when we arrived the lift was still out of service and we were on the third floor, with heavy bags and someone with asthma. The room was, again, OK - hadn't been cleaned properly though with dust along the bar behind the bed and a big brown stain on the floor to the right. We also only had one towel for the bathroom/shower so had to share that in the morning. It was great for being central in Exeter and handy to park in the front, but I probably wouldn't stay here again.

The public rooms were in good condition but rather dated, reflecting the hotel's ostentatious history. The corridors and fire doors to the rooms were in poor condition, some damaged paint, wallpaper and carpet. The room was small and dated but clean with plenty of storage. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast offered a great choice. Whilst it is becoming increasingly common, as a hotel guest, I don't like paying extra to park my car.
