The gentleman on reception kindly secured us a room without people staying above us as I had seen in the reviews noise can be a real issue in the hotel. The corridors were extremely loud at night, people loudly coming back from the bar. We were woken a few times. We couldn't get dinner at the hotel. We were advised dinner was being served all afternoon until 8.30pm but when we returned to eat, we were told they couldn't take our order until 6pm....

Fantastic Hotel on the Avon a short walk from Bath
"Lovely hotel, food and staff. The walk along the side of the canal into Bath was a true pleasure. Beautiful views of the Avon from the bar & restaurant. The staff were friendly and I can fully recommend the Fillet Steak, Panna Cotta Dessert and the Full English Breakfast. The parking is a bit tight, but even on the busy Saturday night, there were alternative car parking spaces available and 2 or 3 large cars managed to squeeze in fine, without causing an obstruction. I was also surprised to find out that the £10 parking charge is a one off charge for your stay and not per night as it appeared to be described on the Hotels.com website. I would definitely stop here again."
