"We were really delighted with our experience here. We were travelling with our baby, and I had emailed ahead to request an early check in if possible so our baby could nap in the room. Not only was this facilitated, our room was upgraded which gave us much more space for a family. This was really appreciated. All of the staff were really friendly, especially the restaurant staff as we had our little girl with us for our meals - she is a very fussy eater and they were brilliant at adapting food for her. "I had a lovely stay at the Talbot Hotel Midleton in Cork. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything I needed. The highlight was definitely the leisure centre – the pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were a real treat. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food at both the restaurant and bar was tasty. The location is great too – close to the train station and ideal for visiting Fota Wildlife Park, beaches, or Cork City."

"Used Carrigaline as a base for the first half of our Ireland adventure, great position to visit Waterford, Cobh, Cork and Blarney . The hotel and staff were fantastic. "

"The property was in a perfect place on the beach, quiet and luxurious on the inside. The pool and jaccuzi were a nice addition, both very warm. Great for a family as we had two kids and they had thier own bed. We had a king size. Best sleep in a hotel. Had a nespresso machine for coffee in the room, which is a nice touch. Beautiful walks on the beach in the evenings after a busy day in the city of Cork. About 40 min drive to the airport on a main highway most of the way, 30 from Cork, 20 from Midleton and about 25 to Cobh. Breakfast and dinner was amazing although I would reccomend eating around the other small towns for experience purposes. Only thing that might be missing is a small convenience store (about 15 min drive)or gift shop and a fridge. I still would reccomend this over hotels in Cork, Cobh and Fota Island. "
