"Lovely hotel, from our room we could watch the planes take off from Heathrow but never heard anything. Food in cafe was nice, service was excellent, room was clean and comfortable however the bed was firmer than I like but it was ok for one night. My wife used the pool and loved it."

"The hotel was lovely overall, and we would return. We especially appreciated the bottle of wine and the lovely anniversary card waiting for us in the room—it was a thoughtful touch. However, the air conditioning was set far too cold and we were freezing during the night. There were also no biscuits provided with the tea and coffee. Breakfast had a reasonable selection, including scrambled eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, bread, croissants, cereal, cheese and ham, but I found it quite bland and it wasn’t really to my taste. I mistakenly booked for one person instead of two. The hotel could not add my husbands name to the booking so I had to pay an additional £20 at the hotel. Despite these small issues, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return."

"The hotel is beautiful and an amazing location. The breakfast was incredible! We had a really quiet room. The only issue is that our room was supposed to be with two beds. We arrived and there was a playpen in our room (weird) and it was a queen. We asked for two beds but they said they upgraded us to a room with a window so it was just one bed. They did eventually move the playpen. I wish we could have had no window and two beds. I’m not sure where the communication breakdown was but other than that the hotel was fabulous!"

"room was a tad hard to locate due to confusing numbering signage so had to go back down and have someone show me where it was but then after that room was good. a bit on the small side but it was just me so all good. Room does not have A/C but a fan was running in the room when I got there and there was water to drink. Water was in a warm room and not refrigerated so didn’t drink it but still a nice touch."
