Had an absolutely wonderful stay. Check in was so simple and room was ready early. Staff are so friendly and helpful, felt very safe as a solo traveler . Very comfortable beds. Lots of choice food and drink. Despite it being extremely busy, I never heard and noise at night. So many beds and areas for relaxing and sunbathing. Would recommend and will be returning.

The hotel was ok for what we wanted it for, a lads holiday, but as hotels go, it was very poor. Very noisy, people shouting into the early hours, banging and crashing from the rooms above. It’s a good job I read the reviews beforehand and took earplugs. Food was really bad to the point I started to buy breakfast at the little cafe on site. You have to pay to use the safe in your room, a euro deposit for cups by the pool and the lifts are incredibly slow. The rooms were ok ish, but were often not cleaned despite me putting the sign on the door. My biggest bug bare was everything shutting at midnight and after that you can’t get anything, despite being all inclusive. There is a couple of vending machines in the reception, but they didn’t work and I ended up going out to a supermarket at 2am to get some water. Like I said, ok for what we wanted it for, but you can’t dress it up as anything better than terrible.

There’s something disarming about KN Aparthotel Columbus in Tenerife. It isn’t flashy or trying to sell you an illusion. It’s a place that knows what it is: a comfortable, lived‑in base camp for people chasing sun, late mornings, and maybe a hangover or two. Three nights here on my own felt less like an escape and more like a quiet reset. The balcony views stretch wide and forgiving, the poolside hums with a rhythm that makes you forget the clock, and the staff move with that easy island grace that says, “no rush, you’re here now.” Breakfast is unpretentious—coffee that wakes you up, eggs that mean business, fruit that reminds you why it grew here. At night, the bar comes alive with travelers from everywhere, bonded by sunburns, laughter, and cheap rum poured with generosity. Step outside, and the pulsing heart of Playa de las Américas reminds you that solitude and chaos can share the same street. This isn’t a five-star sanctuary. It’s better than that—it’s real. KN Columbus doesn’t try to impress; it invites you to let go. Sometimes, that’s all you need.

Great hotel for a 3*

Reading the reviews beforehand I was a bit apprehensive but I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Yes our room was dated but clean. The rooms at the other side of the building had been recently renovated. The food in this hotel was superb for a 3*. Selection of meats every day and night. Only downside of the pool was at this time of year it was shaded after 3 but there is terraces where u can move to get the sun. Staff were friendly and rooms cleaned daily. Very central location. Had a great holiday and would definitely return.

Good hotel, convenient, airport bus stops at door, don’t bother with a taxi. Bar area not great, glad we didn’t go all inclusive. Nice pools and plenty loungers. Right beside football stadium for any fans, games on Sunday lunchtimes. Good WiFi, good enough for streaming

Just enjoyed 6 nights in kn columbus room cleaned every day to a good standard, check in staff excellent, had a street facing room a bit noisy at night but i didnt mind got the room at a great rate ,if your a light sleeper it might not suite you, didn't eat there so cant comment on the food ,bottom line its not 5 star so dont expect it,if you want clean rooms in a good location with air con its fine .

A value for money trip. Food was ok, place was clean. The main downside was the cleaning trolleys which moved up and down the open plan corridors from 7am until after 3pm. Forget about long lies and siestas. It was like lying in a train station.

This hotel was a very nice stay as a solo traveler all inclusive. Friendly polite staff, clean, big and nicely air conditioned room. Very tasty food and a good pool area. Only complaint I have was at lunchtime as the restaurant was closing I had finished my food and was getting myself a cup of juice in a cardboard cup to take out and a female staff member was rude about it. I understand that they were closing but I paid money for all inclusive and pouring myself a drink would take about 10 seconds and I was on my way out anyway.

Okay but not the best

Greeted nicely and check in all fine. Wasnt sure why we need to wear wristbands for self catering , got told by security to wear one even though he saw me every day i was there. Wasnt going to wear it all holiday. The room was in need of re vamp , the bed was rock solid., cleaners started too early being loud, the sensor on the bathroom light looked smashed in and kept turning itself on and off during the night. The hotel was just too noisy could hear everything outside the room.
