"Overall, our stay at the Majestic Mirage was excellent. The property is well maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was a hit or miss for me. My favorite was the hibachi. It was delicious and entertaining. My second favorite was the steakhouse. I would highly recommend booking the hibachi right after you check in. We will definitely be back."

"Well, first 2 days no cold water in room. Toilets wouldn’t flush, couldn’t shower. Petty, but no washcloths in room. Phone/TV did not work in room. Sinks leaked, so everything stayed wet. Mosquitoes were very present! Food was always cold, very low quality. Steakhouse was only needed reservation, but was terrible compared to American quality steaks. They were maybe 1/4 thick. Similar to fast food burger. Chicken was very dry!! Fish, well I could not cut it with a knife! Cleaning staff did service our rooms very well during the day. Bonus!! Bar staff was pleasant, little miss communication sometimes. Expected. Entertainment to us was not entertaining. Same ole same ole I don’t think I would stay at this resort again. "

"The hotel is beautiful! The staff is very friendly and welcoming! I had better expectations with the food. The beach is a paradise! The water slides and water parks were amazing for my two daughters under 5. We will be definitely coming back!"

"We stayed in the adult only reserve ocean front room. The view was amazing. The food was average but initially better than any all inclusive we’ve been to. Our concierge was a huge help in booking our reservations, etc.: My husband got sick halfway through vacation and was in bed with diarrhea , fever and body aches. We had the hotel Dr come to our room and prescribe him medication.He was only able to eat saltines the remainder of our trip. Pretty disappointing when we payed the upgrade for the reserve and couldn’t enjoy the food and drinks the rest of the days. If we didn’t get sick and we were able to enjoy the rest, our vacation without any issues I would’ve rated a five star. Unfortunately, I also came home with severe stomach issues. I’m on day six now and all I have to say is make sure to bring your hand sanitizer and watch what you eat. if it looks questionable…..don’t eat it This was her six visits in DR and our last. We will not be going back."
