"The hotel was very quiet and clearly they are still trying to build up trade after taking over from Radisson Blue. The lack of customers didn't appear to have had any impact on the number of staff as there were plenty in attendance at reception and at breakfast etc. We were given a free room upgrade, as were the people in front of us at reception, presumably another reflection of how quiet the hotel is. Beds was really comfortable. Bathroom/shower was really nice. There were quite a few scuff marks on the walls of the room and the table in the bedroom had seen better days. Breakfast was excellent. Superb location right in the city centre and next to the harbourside. An excellent stay all round."

"Location: Excellent Car parking: Very good though price was a bit steep Food: restaurant is a bit limited in their offerings. Breakfast lacked waffles despite waffles being on posters. Room: Good Facilities: Good Anything terrible? It was a heat wave and the aircon would have been a blessed relief. But the aircon only managed to cool the room to 26 on night 1. 25 on night 2 and for night 3 it reached 23. On the morning that we left it was 21."

"Everything was ok-ish for this grade of hotel. The pillows were not very comfortable and the shower curtain does not work well. You end up with water all over the floor if not placed correctly. Great location, right on the marina. Lovely bars, coffee shops, restaurants. Quaint high street."
