"Lovely stay as always. Room is a good size, clean, comfortable and plenty of tea, coffee etc. Breakfast was good and enjoyed the local kippers. Food in the evening was lovely and chips best we've tasted and a good atmosphere in the bar in the evening. Handy for so many beautiful places in the area both coastal and inland and of course the gorgeous Staithes where the accommodation is situated which has amazing walks."

"Room was okay, but only that. The room was clean and tidy, however the bed was very creaky, not ideal if you were planning to have a romantic weekend!! Shower wasn’t the most powerful and the shower head was fixed in position with a cable tie, so no adjustment. On a positive note, the pub food was good and the Theakston ales on the bar are very well kept "

Good location for the train station 🙂 Liked the pack in the room with the story of Beggar's Bridge, we had a walk down to it after a delicious breakfast and ended up carrying along through the woods.
