"Victoria was the perfect host made us feel so welcome, the property was absolutely stunning and breakfast was so lovely sitting out in the garden looking at the views will definitely be back again maybe for a bit longer next time "
"Great experience staying at Chequers. The hotel is very well located, plenty of car park spaces in front of the hotel and staff was absolutely brilliant!"
"For us the location was very convenient. The room was clean and the location perfect for walking, with beautiful viewpoints very close by. It is off a busy main road but no noise issues.
The building and decor are a bit tired but did the job and all was all fine for our needs."

"What a super hotel, the staff are so welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Special thanks to the lady who helped with our bicycles, explained everything and showed us to our room (sorry we didn’t get names). Our room was bijou but perfect with some nice chilled music on arrival, a fab coffee machine along with quality tea bags, delicious shortbread and even a complimentary tipple. Comfortable bed and excellent shower - we loved the room names too. "
"The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable, with good amenities available. In-room breakfast and drinks supplies were replenished daily, and every effort was made to ensure that we had a stress-free and relaxing stay. Wendy and Ivor are the most genial hosts, ensuring that we had everything we needed.
The property is situated in a quiet and peaceful location with a large expanse of open land on the doorstep. Outdoor benches and tables are available for alfresco dinning, or just relaxing in the fresh air.
Hever Castle is an easy five minute walk from the property, and The Henry VIII pub and restaurant, offering excellent food, is even closer.
Very highly recommend."

"A gorgeous ancient (C16th?) house in a peaceful hamlet with lovely new floors/bathrooms etc. The weather was hot so our favourite thing was the big wooden table and comfortable chairs outside under a beautiful grapevine, felt like being in the South of France!"
"This B&B is in a nice setting. Although it’s on the main road, it’s quite set back and the pub being just opposite this makes for a lovely combination. There is also a convenience store along the road if you wanted to get a morning newspaper etc. The room was very spacious which was nice. Just had to be careful of the beams.
The only thing I didn’t enjoy personally was that the owner was quite headmistress like in terms of rules and what she wanted, which basically made us feel like kids being told off, which is not something I want when paying £118 for an overnight stay, but my partner says that perhaps B&Bs are not for me. Back to standard hotels I think…."
