Location great,staff friendly and helpful and food really good, Unfortunately the first room we were given was poor despite the fact we had upgraded to a superior room and due to the hotel being full we couldn’t be moved on our second day we were moved to a much better room and did enjoy our stay Would recommend this hotel

Property was in a great location, would book it qgain. Room was very spacious and clean. Bed 2as lovely and comfortable. We stayed in room 29, which was a superior room. Staff were friendly and helpful 🙂

Pied bull in a good location. Room was ample for a one night stay. Good choice of cask ales in the pub fur the other half. Staff friendly and polite. Didnt eat there so cant comment on the food. Would definitely return if wanting a stopover in chester again.

Lovely place and full of quirks - some are charming and make you giggle (stairs and plumbing arrangements), others not so (noise from the bar in a first floor room and ). Glad we stayed and the food was good.

Pied bull weekend

I love tradition so staying in a place of history was part of my choice to stay there. Basic but clean and did the job for our stay. Staff friendly and welcoming. Great location too.

Bank Holiday at the Pied Bull

Had a lovely bank holiday weekend at this hotel and the staff and location are all excellent .Had lovely meals there also and would definitely recommend 👌. Even when returning late from night club manager was there to welcome you back and see you to your room if needed.Looking forward to returning for another lovely break 😀.

An impromptu stay but The Pied Bull was a lovely place. Lovely warm room, basic decor but excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious . Would definitely go back.
