"Although it was clean the room that I had this time needed some upgrading, for example there was no toilet roll holder, just holes in the wall where it had been, grout was missing between the bathroom floor tiles. The walk from the car park was completely dark and uneven/potholed. That made it unsafe. However, the staff made up for the poor impression that condition of the premises. Very good breakfast and good service."

"We stayed 1 night and did not use any of the facilities or eat there. The room we stayed in was great. A really comfortable super kibg sized bed, massive wslk in shower, good tea and coffee facilities in our room. It was quiet, so we had a good nights sleep (just what we wanted). I would stay again. "Fabulous hotel. Great location. We stayed one night meeting up with friends. Lovely clean, quiet room. We ate in the lounge bar in the evening, and enjoyed our meal. Freshly cooked breakfast and all the staff were very helpful and accommodating. "

"The staff are friendly if you can find one of them. When I attempted to checkout there were no staff members around to obtain a VAT receipt. After waiting for around 20 minutes, I had to leave. I have been phoning ever since to arrange a VAT receipt, and after countless calls, no one answers the phone, and no one responds to answering machine messages. Overall incredibly poor service."

"We paid for an upgrade but it was a fairly standard room with a view of the car park. Having said that, the staff were very pleasant, the room was clean, bed comfortable and an excellent power shower. Buffet style breakfast was delicious with additional items freshly prepared if requested. I would happily stay again."
