"We recently stayed at The Cavalaire for two nights Friday - Sunday. This was our first trip to Brighton. We really enjoyed our stay. Check in and check out was a breeze, friendly staff, cousy tidy rooms and wacky decor. Well filled coffee/ tea making facilities in the room was much appreciated, and complimentary water. "This is a lovely apart/hotel in a great location and I recommend it highly. It's situated within a 2-min walk to Gloucester Road station. The area is quiet and walkable. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park just a few minutes away too. Lots of great coffee shops and restaurants close by and the high street is 10-mins away. We stayed for 9 days in between other travels. We initially strayed in the studio room which was great but a bit small but then we moved to a studio deluxe which was perfect....

"Staff great. Didn’t get told had to press a button to have room serviced therefore wasn’t done but when told was supplied with the necessary teas and coffees. Fish was also not quite cooked but this was also dealt with to our satisfaction but it was a shame as the fish was great. Good quality teas and coffees. Pillows not great for me but I am fussy."

"Excellent value for money , room was large, large comfy bed with TV and sofa. Mini kitchen with kettle,sink,hob,microwave and fridge. En suite bath with shower. Towels provided.I only booked for the one night but would have happily stayed a week. Yes there was the odd hair and a bit of dust in places but on the whole it was clean. Its a bit dated but wouldn't expect anything less being an old building. I'd definitely be booking again."
