"I have always stayed at the Hotel Edison when traveling to NY. Marco - at the front desk is amazing…he remembers his returning guests and treats us royally. If it wasn’t for Marco I would try different hotels. Yes - the rooms are starting to get tired but the location can’t be beat. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"We had a wonderful visit at this nostalgic hotel. The staff was excellent. Fantastic location."

"Hotel itself was nice and clean. But the location is a bit odd. The free shuttle service in the evening is a joke. No one answers the front desk. Finally when someone answered, he immediately put us on hold and kept us waiting for the next 15 mins. I had to hang up finally. After many retries someone finally answered and said he was sending the shuttle and it will be there in the station in 5 mins. No shuttle came even after waiting for 30 mins. Called the front desk again. He then apologised saying it was a busy evening and he is going to send it now. At the end we waited for almost an hour and no sign of shuttle and ended up taking an uber back to the hotel. If there was no intention to provide the service just say so. We wouldn’t have wasted our time after a busy day in NYC. Either dedicate a separate line for the shuttle pick up in the evening or provide the driver phone number instead of the hotel front desk. Ot have them pick up at some dedicated time from the station. Overall very disappointed with the shuttle service. We ended up using Uber everyday "

"There is only one reference for breakfast and it would close by 10:30 AM always a humongous line, never made it inside. Had to walk out to be able to get a bite to eat.. the line to get coffee was insane. My room was next to the eye machine. I had no idea until the last day. I couldn’t understand all the noise. But the hotel is in a great convenience spot walking distance to Times Square fifth Avenue and Central Park. Making a very convenient a lot of restaurants outside the hotel. The room was always cleaned every day so that made it nice to come to a clean room. Always enough towels never having to ask for more."
