Zero Stars. AVOID.

This listing is actually a duplex and shares a wall with the front unit of the building. The entire place smells like cigarettes. Bathroom windows are in the shower and have no coverings. On the first night of our stay the neighboring tenants were extremely loud with pounding, shouting, and music until 2am. The loud tenants even shouted about the police being called to quite them down. The host could not be reached (I tried VRBO chat, text, and phone call) and would only communicated when VRBO support became involved. We booked this place for an entire week and didn't stay past the first night as the whole situation felt unsafe. After a full week of back and forth messaging and emails the host and VRBO support are still not willing to resolve the issues with a refund and I have decided to dispute the charge with my bank. The host volunteered policy information stating I would be entitled to a refund for nights not stayed and nights impacted but when I reiterated that we left on day 2 she chose not to extend the refund. She even tried to get me to cancel the reservation after I was checked in which would have resulted in zero refund. Save yourself the headache and avoid this host.

GUESTS BEWARE!!!

BEWARE!!! There are German roaches at this property. Although there are signs inside claiming pest control is done quarterly and pest-plugins around the unit, during my stay, there were multiple roaches in the kitchen, bathrooms, closets, and bedrooms. The signs and plug-ins show they are cognizant of this matter. Unfortunately, the issues with the property did not stop there. On the first day, the place was not available at check-in time. Also, a two-car limitation was mentioned 5 and a half hours before arrival, and the place was discovered to be a duplex, which was neither mentioned on the site nor in conversations with the owner. Furthermore, the cleanliness was not up to par, and there was a non-functional light bulb in one of the bedrooms, causing visibility issues. The cherry on top of this visit was when my vehicle got keyed by one of the guests staying in the 1st part of the duplex. It is baffling that this could not be proved through camera footage, as the property lacks surveillance, which is unheard of. How does a property enforce its “two-car” maximum or any of its rules when there are NO cameras on site? If so, they would have known that their no-party rule was broken by the guests in the first unit. This was extremely embarrassing for me and my friends who were staying at this place for the weekend. Assistance from the owner was requested, but they were impractical. I rarely ever make reviews or complain. However, this was the WORST stay I’ve ever had.
