"Nice rooms "

"A very nice hotel: decent-sized rooms, elegant decor and helpful staff"

"The Police arrested a man and handcuffed him and my Daughter saw this as the commotion banged against our door at 21:00. The fan oin the room had the electric elements exposed as it was broken and took ages to get it replaced. the finish of the mirror was hanging off and there was an iron burn mark in the carpet. Dust blowing off the fan. A disgrace."

"The check in experience was wonderful with really helpful happy, staff who were welcoming and professional. The rooms are large and the beds are great. The toilet had a lot of staining and scale build up, which could have been sorted out. The breakfast experience was not up to the usual Holiday Inn standard, the host buffer was barely warm, and while the front of house manager was excellent some of the staff were to say the lease less helpful. All in all, would I stay again. Yes I would."

"The bed was comfortable. The tea/coffee available in the room was good. It was very noisy because it's on a main road and the windows do nothing to reduce the noise. The building is very old so this was to be expected."

"There was some confusion during check-in regarding our booking for three separate rooms, with guests arriving at different times. Initially, we were all given keys to the same room, and concerns were then raised about the number of occupants, as it didn’t seem clear that we were meant to be in different rooms. We were also asked to reconfirm our booking details a few times, which took a little while to resolve. It appeared to be a misunderstanding, but it did make what should have been a straightforward check-in more complicated than expected, and at times it felt like the confusion was attributed to us which set our weekend off on a poor note. That said, the hotel overall suited our needs well. The location was convenient, and the rooms were comfortable. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning in the rooms."

"Everything was amazing. Only thing that has marked down a star is that the curtains were absolutely rubbish. Far too thin so o was woken up at 5:20am the moment it got light."
