"We booked the Ryder suite. Beautiful and luxurious room. There was a nearby bar or restaurant that was very loud into the early morning hours (2-3 am) but we can’t fault the property for that. Otherwise our stay was perfect. "

"Stayed here for 2 nights for work. I booked as the information on the Hotels.com website stated it had a car park. Please note that the hotel car park is just 12 spaces - there is a large public car park right behind this. You have to pay for both. Room was okay, large desk for working at, bed and ensuite were good. Step up into ensuite. There was lots of places to eat within 10-15 minutes walk, so I did not eat at the hotel."

"For some reason the rooms are always faulty these days this hotel used to be really good there seem to be some sort of maintenance issue and the staff are really unprofessional and brain dead.. such a shame are most the other branches you can’t really find a fault."

"Everything was fine until 6:30am when I was dozing in bed and my daughter had been in the shower room for few minutes. Suddenly I hear loud bangs on my door. It was hotel staff claiming that the fire alarm had gone off in my room. I got dressed and opened the door. There was obviously no smoke or steam or anything in the air, as the staff member could see. I underlined that I didn’t smoke, that there was no fire anywhere and that there obviously had not been any fire. Nevertheless they insisted I open my windows, and they left. Now I completely understand that regardless of whether it is a false alarm or not, they need to check the room if an alarm goes off. But there was no apology at all or even sympathy that they had put me out. When I went to the front desk to check out and started to mention about the fire alarm, the receptionist aggressively interrupted me, stated my room number and proceeded to launch into astonishingly rude false accusation that I had twice set off the fire alarm—something she said had never happened in the hotel before. I briefly defended and pointed out that myself—I don’t smoke, there had been no fire at all, the staff member that came into the room could see that there was no fire or smoke, and it was obviously some kind of false signal. This did nothing to ease the aggression of the receptionist. I left shocked at how they had treated me. "

"This was a first fime staying at the hotel, at night when we checked in everything went really smoothly, great staff and very clean room. However, the morning was sooo disappointing! You could hear everything & everyone from your room, we were disturbed at 8am and couldn’t go back to sleep! From door alarms to people going up and down on the stairs! That one specific door with the creek noise was absolutely disastrous! I do not recommend this place you want to have a restful stay. "

"Comfortable, good sized (for Europe) room, excellent location in city center. Only thing we weren’t happy with was our check in experience, but that was a system design issue, not the on-site staff’s fault. They should ditch their self check-in kiosks, which weren’t able to work for any guests when we arrived, and just put a proper registration desk back in and staff it full time. They’re clearly trying to save on labor costs, but it started off the otherwise pleasant stay on a negative. "

"The hotel was ideal for the one night stay we needed prior to attending a funeral locally. The staff at check in/out were professional, polite and friendly. The restaurant staff were also very friendly, attentive and engaged in conversation. The breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of choice depending on guest’s preferences! Highly recommend!"

"Food was lovely but when we had meal in the restaurant Saturday night we was not told until we sat down and looked at menu we could only have soft drinks as their licence had not been renewed in time.
